In Memoriam

 

The moment that you left me, my heart was split in two;
one side was filled with memories; the other side died with you.
I often lay awake this night when the whole world was fast asleep; 
and i take a walk down memory lane; with lots of tears upon my cheak.
Remembering you is easy; I do it every minute of the day;
but missing you is the heartache, i think it never goes away. 
I hold you tightly within my heart; and there you will remain. 
I will wait and see if life goes on without you; but i already know for sure; 
it will never be the same
